Whenever I hear guys talking about a bad experience at a strip club, I can usually trace it back to the exact same mistake.
The guys just weren’t comfortable telling a stripper “no”.
Sure, there are some bad strip clubs where you may not even get a chance to interact with any strippers before you realize the place is a scam. But those kinds of clubs are actually pretty rare.
In my experience, from strip clubs around the country to here in Vegas, you can have a good time at virtually any club.
But the most important rule for having a good time is being able to say “no” to most strippers, and here’s why.
The Worst Strippers Take Advantage of Guys Who Don’t Say No.
Meeting a stripper at a club shouldn’t be a random event, but most guys treat it like it is. They just sit there and wait for a stripper to randomly approach them.
While this isn’t entirely bad, the worst strippers in the club are usually the ones walking around and trying to hit up every customer in the club.
The reason these are the worst strippers is that they’re just playing a numbers game. They figure if they try to hard-sell every customer, at least a few will be too scared to say no, and they’ll make their cash.
This type of stripper is only out to make money. She knows her dances are terrible and won’t keep guys spending more, so she only targets the guys who don’t say no. The guys get pressured into booking a few dances or a private room, then leave unhappy because the stripper was boring.
I have a whole article on how to avoid these bad strippers in a club, but so many guys still make this basic mistake.
But there’s a bright side, and that’s the fact that simply saying “no” helps you avoid these strippers altogether so you can seek out the best stripper in the club.
Why Guys Have Trouble Saying No
If you’ve ever had trouble saying no to a stripper, it’s likely because you think it will come off as an insult. Or, you may think that if a stripper took a few minutes to talk to you, that you sort of “owe her” something.
There’s nothing wrong with thinking like that, and it probably means you’re a decent person. However, strippers don’t really think like that.
Strippers do this almost every night; they get told “no” all the time. You can think of it like a door-to-door salesman from the old days. They get told “no” all the time. But they simply move on to the next house.
That’s how strippers are. Maybe when they first started they felt bad if a customer rejected them. But they quickly realize that’s how the game is played, and they really don’t care anymore about that.
That’s why you should never feel bad saying “no” to a stripper or turning down her offer. If you do it pretty early, she’ll actually appreciate you didn’t waste her time, and she’ll quickly move on to another customer who just walked through the door.
But that brings me to my next point. Try not to waste the stripper’s time. If she’s hanging out with you for a while, and having drinks and you’re both having fun, you should have some intention of spending some cash on her.
However, there is one exception to this, and that’s if you meet the “party girl” stripper. I talk about this kind of stripper a lot, and they’re usually the most fun in the club.
I’ve had countless times where I’ve met strippers like this, they sat with me and had drinks and never really asked for money or a private dance.
With these girls, you want to get their phone number and try to set something up outside the club, but that’s a whole different story. I go into some detail about that in this article about getting a stripper’s phone number.
But overall, never be afraid to say “no” to a stripper, especially at Vegas strip clubs. You’ll avoid all the boring girls who prey on nice guys and give bad lap dances, and you’ll save your wad of cash for the strippers that are truly fun.
