There is an entire subset of escorts in Vegas that don’t really fall into a specific category. They aren’t streetwalkers or casino girls, and they don’t post on escort review sites.
Part-time escorts (or “opportunists”, as I call them) are a very interesting aspect of adult nightlife in Vegas. These girls don’t take on a lot of clients, and sometimes they go months between paid hookups. This makes them extremely interesting and a great find if you happen to connect with one.
The reason these kinds of escorts are so much more common in Vegas is because of the Strip. It’s a worldwide tourist destination that exists essentially on one street. A local girl can get dressed up, drive 15 minutes to the Vegas Strip, and immediately have access to countless male customers who looking to spend money. In most cities, girls who want to go out and make money escorting either have to walk the local “track”, which is usually dangerous and full of low-baller customers. Or, they have to build up an online profile, but online profiles attract customers randomly, so this doesn’t work for girls who want to work and make money right now.
If you’ve never heard of this, I’ll go over the details below so you can spot these special escorts and possibly end up with a very unique hookup.
Understanding “The Opportunist” Escort
In my list of the top 5 types of escorts you’ll meet in Vegas, I mention the “opportunist” type of escort. These are escorts that don’t really escort full-time. Instead, they just use escorting as something they do from time to time, or when the time is right. In some cases, they even just do it for fun while out with friends.
The best thing about girls like this is that they are generally low-mileage. They’re also usually very chill and are cool, without a lot of the drama that can come from full-time escorts. This means they’ll happily hang out with you for the night, having drinks or gambling until you finally head up to your hotel room. She’s not charging by the hour or anything like that, so it’s more of an “all-inclusive” price when you deal with these kinds of escorts.
My Personal Experience
Let me give you an example of one of these “opportunists” I met. I ended up becoming friends with her after seeing her a few times.
She was a petite Mexican girl who worked full-time at Starbucks. She had a car, an apartment, and was otherwise a totally normal 25-year-old girl (most full-time escorts are a bit of a mess). However, when she was out either alone or with certain friends, she would be on the lookout for guys that seem like they fit her preferred client profile.
In her case, she liked older guys (this meant around 40 for her). She liked guys who weren’t married, as that made her feel sort of guilty. She didn’t like guys who immediately brought up money or threw money around. I think this was because she didn’t want to admit to herself that this was prostitution. She wanted it all to seem more like a game or side hustle.
The thing is, she could go months or even a year between seeing a “client”. It’s totally random when she would do it. The result is that these hookups are closer to a sugar baby type of thing than a traditional escort hook-up.
However, every one of these girls is different and has different tastes. I met another girl like this, but she preferred older guys who were shady, like still being into drugs. So there are all types out there, and their preference can vary a lot.
The preference is important because you sort of have to “pick up” these kinds of escorts. They won’t just immediately offer their services like traditional Vegas escorts who walk the Strip.
Picking Up One of These Escorts Takes a Bit More Work
This is where things are more difficult than a standard escort. Most standard escorts in Vegas will get with any client as long as the client seems normal and is willing to pay.
However, the part-time or opportunist escort takes more effort. Since she doesn’t do this full-time, she will not get with just any client. You generally have to chat this girl up a little and make her interested, or at least make her very comfortable with you.
The part-time escort generally has some sort of normal job and normal life. This means she doesn’t want any drama. A lot of times, her escort work is very sercretive and nobody around her knows it other than her friends who may do the same.
This means she wants discretion and no drama just as much as you do.
You can’t just pick these girls up by asking “how much” or things like that. You generally have to spend at least an hour or so talking with them. If she is engaged in the conversation, you’re not wasting time, and it’s time well spent that will likely pay off.
If she’s sort of stand-offish or doesn’t really engage, it probably means you’re not what she’s looking for, so don’t force it. Don’t feel bad either if she’s not interested. Escorts like this can have some strange tastes in the men they like to hook up with.
As an example, I met a cute girl recently at Circa here in Vegas. I got the feeling she was a part-time escort. I tried for a bit to make conversation, and she was just sort of shy and quiet, only giving short answers.
A bit later in the night, I saw the same girl walking out with a guy who had a meth-head look to him. Like I said, these girls can have really strange tastes in guys. You just have to accept it and realize you will win some, and you’ll lose some when dealing with this type of girl. It’s not like a stripper or regular escort.
Of course, if you just throw a huge dollar amount out there, you’ll probably get her to jump on it. So this advice is mostly for guys who don’t want to overspend on escorts and prefer to just pay the standard amounts.
If you are one of those guys where “money is no object”, these girls typically see anything over $2500 as “a lot of money”, and they’ll jump on board.
But there’s a catch if you try to throw money around with a girl like this, and I’ll explain why in the next section.
These Girls Will Still Shift Gears and Scam…So Watch Out
Don’t forget, these part-time escorts are still escorts. That means they still have that “hustler” side of them that can come out at any moment.
If you come off as a clueless “mark” and just brag about money or offer a huge sum of money you just won gambling (at least a large sum for her), she’ll switch to “hustler” mode and start trying to string you along.
She’ll also likely try some hooker scams like upsells once you start your night together.
If you try to impress these kinds of girls with money, they almost take it as offensive, depending on how you do it. They won’t show they are offended in some cases, they’ll just switch to hustler-mode and decide to take as much money as possible without delivering anything.
You want to remember that these part-time escorts take a far different approach to escorting, which is more similar to just picking up a regular civilian girl. They’re also typically a little smarter than the average escort, so you have to play it smart, too. They’re not desperate for cash.
Can You Meet These Girls While on a Vacation in Vegas?
I call these kinds of escorts “unicorns” because they’re pretty rare. If you live in Vegas and go out often, you can run into them here and there. On a vacation, it’s definitely a lot tougher, and most girls you encounter will be standard escorts.
However, here is the big tip if you’re in Vegas. Don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation with any woman you see by herself and you think is attractive. Your success rate in Vegas is going to be way higher than your local bar or club back home.
The reason is that in Vegas, every woman who is out and dressed up is looking for something. There on vacation or away from home, and they’re up for a good time. Or, they’re an escort.
This means you really want to push your luck when approaching women while on vacation in Vegas. Just from personal experience, I’ve had the simplest small talk turn into a wild night with a random woman. If I never said anything, she would have just passed on by.
How does all that relate to part-time escorts? Well, the only way to meet part-time escorts is by approaching them and starting up a conversation. They won’t solicit you like a regular escort.
So if you’re in town, don’t pass by a woman you think might be a good catch. Even if she’s not a part-time escort, she could just be a regular woman on vacation looking for a good time.
Either way, it’s a win for you.
