There are a lot of risks when picking up an escort. Most people intuitively know this, but they usually don’t think about the details. This is especially true in the heat of the moment. After you’ve had a few drinks, you won some money at the tables, and a very hot girl just happens to strike up a conversation and asks if you’re up for a little fun.
At times like this, risk is usually the last thing on your mind.
But situations like this can be risky if you don’t know what’s out there. Below, I’m going to go over the biggest risk when picking up escorts in Las Vegas, and how to protect yourself.
Getting Drugged
Today, this is becoming shockingly common. It’s not just Vegas either. Places like Miami have an epidemic of guys getting drugged. However, in these other cities, it’s usually not even prostitutes; it’s regular women who generally work with a few friends, just trolling the entertainment districts looking for guys to drug and rob.
In Vegas, you still have this, but it’s mostly the prostitutes doing the drugging, and it’s the biggest risk you face when picking up a prostitute.
The reason this is such a substantial and dangerous risk is two-fold.
First off, once you’re drugged, you’re completely helpless.
Second, prostitutes aren’t exactly medical professionals, so whatever they drugged you with could easily kill you or leave some sort of permanent damage.
This is especially true today, as many of these scammers are just using fentanyl or products laced with fentanyl to slip into people’s drinks.
There was recently a high-profile story in New Orleans where a news reporter was found dead in his hotel room after a woman drugged him. The woman had previously done the same thing in Las Vegas, where she would drug victims, then steal their belongings and empty their bank accounts.
But this time, she either used too much or a different substance, and the victim ended up dying.
All of the other scams that hookers can pull usually just limit your losses to whatever you paid them before you realized they weren’t going to deliver any service. While this sucks, it’s hardly dangerous as long as you don’t escalate things.
So, how do you avoid getting drugged and robbed in Vegas? Below are some tips.
Tip #1: Avoid Prostitutes Who Work in Pairs or Groups
I have a whole article explaining why you should never trust prostitutes who work in pairs. While this can be an exciting fantasy, legit escorts never work in groups when walking the casino.
Girls who work in pairs are always up to no good, and if they target you and strike up a conversation, there’s a good chance you’re about to be scammed, or worse.
Some guys like to flirt with escorts in pairs, and that’s fine. But just watch your drink, and never let them handle your drink or go fetch a drink for you.
Tip #2: Don’t Use Biometrics on Your Phone
Most of these girls who drug guys are looking to steal your watch, wallet, and drain your bank accounts.
Getting your wallet stolen isn’t too bad, but draining your accounts is very bad.
These girls know exactly how to navigate around any type of device or financial app, so don’t underestimate them.
If you plan on picking up prostitutes or having them in your room, turn off any biometric password settings on your financial apps, or even just accessing your phone.
Once you pass out, either from being drugged or just falling asleep, they will use your fingerprint or Face ID to test out all your apps. If your banking apps are set to use any type of biometric as a password, these girls can steal all your money.
Trust me, this happens a lot.
Tip #3: Beware of Hookers or Women Who Know Other People Around
Here’s the typical setup. A woman will notice you and come up to you to strike up a conversation. She’ll be really fun, and then ask if you want a drink.
Once you get drinks, she’ll mention she knows some other people at the same location. Sometimes other women, or sometimes guys.
This is a bad sign, and it means you’re being set up. If a hooker drugs you, she generally needs other people to help out. Either to carry you, or drop you off somewhere. That’s why the other people are there, whom she just happens to know.
Similar to how I said to never trust hookers working in pairs, you are much safer when a hooker is alone. If she’s around other people, they’re all in on something together.
Like I said, real hookers who truly provide the service they promise always work alone.
Tip #4: Don’t Flash Money or Wealth
This may seem counterintuitive for a city like Las Vegas. But flashing money around attracts the worst kind of hookers.
Let me explain why.
Real, legit hookers who provide the service they promise want normal, low-key guys. Their favorite client is the regular, clean-cut businessman. He has enough money to pay her, but he’s safe, and there’s no drama.
That’s what real hookers want in a client. They don’t want the wild and crazy guy who’s on a 3-day heater. Sure, they’ll take his money if they cross paths, but that’s not the type of guy real escorts look for.
However, scamming and hustling hookers love guys like that. They make great targets, and the scammy hookers are drawn to them like flies.
Of course, you should always be yourself. But don’t get too flashy in Vegas if you’re out looking for hookers. The fancy watch and wads of cash will attract the exact wrong type of hooker.
Tip #5: Don’t Get Too Drunk
I’ve known a few local strippers and escorts who were friends with girls who drugged customers. And one thing is that they never drug guys on the first drink.
It’s always that 3rd to 5th drink, when everyone has loosened up, the drinks are coming back and forth. Maybe there’s emply glasses around, so it’s harder to keep track of who has what drink.
Don’t think you’ll catch it either. These girls are good at distracting you while the other one puts something in your drink.
If you’re a little drunk, you’ll never even notice it.
You Can Still Have Fun – Just Be Careful
I’m not telling you guys not to have any fun. Obviously, this whole site is about having the most fun possible at strip clubs and with escorts.
But the key is to have fun, not to get scammed, robbed, or worse.
Use some common sense and the tips above, and you can avoid the worst-case scenario here in Vegas and leave town a winner.
