The Biggest Red Flag That a Vegas Hooker is Going to Rob You

Escorts, hookers, and Vegas are pretty much synonymous. Other than gambling, it’s one of the main things the city is known for.

Experienced Vegas travelers know that they should use an escort review site to minimize the chances of something going wrong when they hire an escort.

But still, countless people (including myself) occasionally pick up a “casino girl”. That’s the escorts most people think of when they think of Vegas. These escorts hang around casino bars and wait until they find a single guy to prey on.

Sometimes they’re legit, and you get what you pay for. Other times, they scam you.

If you’re looking to gamble on a Vegas escort, this is the number one red flag that she’s probably going to scam you or worse.

The Eager Beaver

You can call this type of escort the “eager beaver”. It’s the escort who immediately wants to start talking business and get you to say yes as soon as possible.

Let me give you a typical scenario of how this escort works.

You’re hanging out in a casino bar or maybe just walking from the table games to the bar. An escort makes eye contact with you, and as you sit down, she grabs a seat next to you.

She makes it pretty obvious she wants to talk, so she makes sure you notice her looking at you.

Here’s why she may not talk first. Some casinos kick out escorts if they talk to the guys first. Security tolerates the hookers, but if they start approaching customers unsolicited, they get kicked out. So, it’s not unusual for these girls to sit next to you and really try to get you to notice them so you say something.

Once you say something, she immediately wants to know where you’re staying. The eager beaver escort always wants to know what hotel you’re at so she can plan the next move.

Once you tell her, and it’s somewhere she feels she can go (some individual hookers are banned from various resorts for getting caught in the past), she immediately starts asking if you want to “have some fun” or something along those lines.

Remember, at this point, you haven’t even exchanged your names or had any small talk.

The reason this is such a red flag is because most legit escorts who are actually going to have sex with you want to get a basic idea of who you are first. They have no idea who you are or what your background is.

Real escorts worry about physical safety above most everything else.

Legit escorts will generally engage in real small talk before moving on to seeing if you want to hook up. They do this for their own safety, and also just to make sure you’re a guy they’re willing to have sex with.

When escorts bypass this step, it means they likely have no intention of going through with any type of sexual activity you both agreed on during the conversation. They don’t care about feeling you out and making sure you’re safe because they’re the unsafe one.

At best, an escort like this is working alone and will just try to upsell you or steal your money in one way or another.

At worst, she has a pimp or boyfriend nearby, and they plan on robbing you another way.

These girls usually prey on drunk guys. Drunk guys don’t find it suspicious if a hooker just starts immediately talking about having sex. She’s a hooker after all, so it sort of makes sense.

But they also prey on businessmen or guys who look like they may not have experience with that sort of lifestyle.

Overall, if a Vegas hooker is very aggressive and starts talking about hooking up before you even make any small talk, she’s likely going to scam you. There are some exceptions to this rule, and it’s usually escorts who are new to the game and not that bright. They just want to land their first client and make money as fast as possible.

However, this situation is like 1% of the Vegas eager beaver hookers. The rest are just scammers.

How A Normal Hookup Will Go

Meeting a legit escort will start almost exactly as I described earlier with the eager beaver escort. The difference is when you start talking to her.

She may ask you where you’re staying, but she’ll also ask where you’re from, what you do, and why you’re in town.

Be on the lookout for signs she’s trying to feel you out to confirm you’re a normal person capable of normal interaction. I don’t mean an interrogation, but the talk of sex will take at least 5-10 minutes to get to…sometimes longer.

I’ve had escorts sit next to me, and we talked and drank for over an hour before either of us mentioned hooking up. Some hookers in Vegas do this because they think they can get a guy to “fall for them” if they put in a little effort. Whether you appreciate this is up to you, but generally, it means she’s a legit escort.

As with everything in life, there’s an exception to this rule as well. If she’s making conversation, but trying to get certain details that seem strange, then that could be a red flag. For example, if you just won big at the tables, she starts asking about your money situation.

Other examples are if she shows an unusual interest in a nice watch or other piece of jewelry.

Obviously, those aren’t the kind of conversations you should trust.

But a standard “getting to know you a little” chat, that’s a good sign when it comes to hookers.

Always be On Your Guard

Even though I talked about the biggest red flag when it comes to Vegas hookers, that’s definitly not the only one. Vegas hooker scams come in all shapes and sizes. These girls sometimes spend 10 hours a day in these casinos, and they’re practiced at scamming guys.
Make sure to always be on guard. Don’t let it ruin your vibe or make you come off as a weirdo, but always keep the notion in the back of your mind that there could be some kind of scam going on.

If you notice something fishy, trust your instinct and walk away. There’s always a different escort around the corner in Vegas.
