A lot of guys go to a strip club, throw down some cash, and have a great time. Afterward, they simply walk out, and that’s the end of it. However, a lot of guys want to see if they can hook up with a certain stripper outside of the club.
Over the years, I’ve seen a lot of strippers outside of the clubs where they work. Sometimes just for a quick hook up, but other times we ended up dating on and off, which I talk about in this article about dating strippers.
But I get a lot of questions about how I meet strippers and get their phone numbers to meet up later. Some guys really struggle with this, and that’s why I wrote this article.
To help you score with that next stripper that catches your eye, keep the following tips in mind, and you’ll have a much better shot.
Picking The Right Strip Club
Technically speaking, you can pick up a stripper at any strip club. But it helps if you pick the right club where your chances will be much higher.
For example, going to a packed club with tons of large groups spending a lot of money is going to lower your chances if you’re there alone. It can still happen, but the strippers will be in “money-mode” and you likely won’t be able to get their attention.
Another thing to consider is the rules within the club. Some clubs have very strict VIP rules, and no touching or contact is allowed. Don’t expect much at these clubs because the girls who work there are choosing that club for a reason. They don’t want to give out extras or be bothered by customers who ask for them.

It’s Not About How Much Money You Spend
Most guys think that to get a stripper’s phone number or see her outside of the club, they need to spend a ton of money. But that’s not really true.
Of course, if you drop $10K at a club and tell the girl you’re willing to spend $10K more, she’ll probably do whatever you ask. But that’s a waste of money since you can just get an escort for $500.
More often than not, when I get a stripper’s phone number and we meet outside the club, I usually only spend a few hundred bucks. I explain how it works in this article about picking the right stripper for a private dance. A lot of the same rules from that article apply here.
Essentially, every club will have at least one stripper inside who is just there to party that night. They want to make money, but there’s always one stripper (or more) who is treating that night like their night out or weekend.
Those are the strippers you want to meet, and if you can click with that stripper, the rest comes pretty easily. She’ll usually chat and have drinks with you, and that’s when you can ask for a phone number.
In those cases, if you spend too much money, the stripper will go back into money-making mode, and you’ll probably end up not getting the phone number because she’ll then see you as a mark instead of a fun guy at the club.
Don’t Be Too Aggressive Or Forward With Your Intentions
One of the biggest mistakes you can make when trying to get a stripper’s phone number is being too aggressive or forward with what your intentions are. You have to build some kind of rapport first.
It doesn’t have to be some deep connection, but you need to share a few laughs and end up talking about something you both find fun. For example, keep the conversation light at first, and keep things upbeat. Don’t talk about your job or something boring.
Most strippers like dishing dirt on other strippers or other clubs, so if you have any funny experiences at the club or with other strippers, try to talk about that. Strippers will usually come to life when gossiping about other strippers or clubs.
But like any conversation, keep an eye on what topics make the stripper come to life, and then try to focus on those topics during the rest of the conversation.
Time When to Ask
Timing is often everything in life, and it’s no different in a strip club. You want to time when you ask for a phone number or bring up the idea of meeting outside of the club.
Generally, this is after you followed the other steps above, and you’re clicking well with the stripper. Sometimes it can be in the VIP, but it can also work if you’re just sitting out near the main floor or bar.
The trick is to eventually steer the conversation towards drinking, partying, or activities outside of the club. If she starts talking about some fun place or other bars, you can say something like “we should go there one of these days”. Then just gauge the reaction.
Sometimes, this is extremely easy, and the stripper will actually bring up a meeting outside of the club. This is basically a gimme, and you have a free shot after that.
But overall, wait for a decent time to bring up the idea of swapping phone numbers or meeting outside the club for some fun. If you force it, she’ll think you’re up to something. It has to come naturally.
If the topic of sex or partying comes up, use that to ask a few questions that lead to you both getting together. You can try to say it jokingly, like “We should meet up” to test the waters.
Overall, just wait for the right time to bring it up. You’re better off asking too late than too early. I’ve asked strippers as I’m walking out the door for their phone numbers and it worked.
