Strip clubs are all about the fantasy. But there is sometimes a mix of reality with the fantasy.
You can almost think about it like professional wrestling. In pro wrestling, the fake action intermingles with some real-life personalities and drama, and that’s what the fans really enjoy. Fans know it’s fake, but there is an interplay of the fake and the real that adds a certain element of enjoyment when both parties are in on it.
Strip clubs can be the same way. The stripper may be pretending to be especially flirtatious with you, but you can actually pretend a little as well to add to the atmosphere. In fact, the stripper will enjoy it if you do. But you have to do it in the right way that plays into what most strippers respond to, and it may not be what you think.
Below, I’ll go into the psychology of strippers to explain what I’m talking about.
The Funnest Strippers Enjoy A Little Mystery
There are a few different types of strippers, and I go into the top 6 different types of strippers you’ll meet in a Vegas strip club here. But the one you always want to find is the party girl. This is the girl who is a bit wild and is up for a good time.
You want to avoid the “total professional”, even if she’s hot. She won’t play along with anything that is outside of her rules. She can be fun to have a conversation with, but if you’re looking for extras, don’t bother with this type of stripper.
When it comes to stripper psychology, the party girl is always looking for something a little wild. They generally like the “bad boy” in their dating life, which usually means their dating life is a mess, but that’s a different subject.
However, this is where you can play into a little bit of the fantasy. The party girl type of stripper doesn’t care if you have a good job, or that you own a business, or anything like that. What she prefers is a guy who has a little mystery.
She wants the guy who has money to blow at the strip club, but she’s not sure how exactly he makes that money. Maybe he’s into something illegal? Maybe he’s a drug dealer?
That may sound crazy, but don’t forget, it’s just like with pro wrestling that I explained earlier. The fans all know a wrestler like the “Undertaker” isn’t a real undertaker at a cemetery. But they play along in their mind because that makes it fun.
In the same way, customers can play along with a stripper who flirts with them.
That’s the thing. It goes both ways. If you can add a little mystery to yourself that gives off the aura that you may not be a completely upstanding citizen, the party-girl stripper will find that attractive, even if it’s just for fun.
I’m not saying to go into some bizarre character and pretend to be an international man of mystery. That’s just ridiculous, and that’s the crucial part about this. There’s a fine line, and you just have to add a little bit of mystery if possible.
Of course, this may depend on how you look. If you’re a very straight-laced guy who clearly has a corporate nine-to-five job, then it may be more difficult to pull this off.
However, it’s still possible. I had a friend once who came with me to a strip club here in Vegas. He was wearing a sports coat and looked like an obvious businessman. However, by being a bit mysterious about exactly what he does, the strippers in our group all came to the conclusion that he was a “fixer”. Basically, a guy who handled difficult problems for wealthy clients, sometimes legally, sometimes illegally.
My friend didn’t tell them any of this himself. But just by being a bit mysterious and pointing the conversation in various directions, he got the girls to believe this is what he does for a living, and they found it fascinating.
They were asking him all kinds of questions and asking him what kind of problems he could solve.
That’s really how you do it. You just leave a little mystery open, and the stripper will take over from there and use their imagination. Remember, they want something a little dangerous to spice up their night, so they’ll play along without even realizing it.
You never know where this could end up. But like I mentioned, don’t make up stuff, as that never works. You have to let the stripper come to the conclusion on her own.
As an aside, this isn’t something I created or even tried to do intentionally. It started because I didn’t want to give out too much personal information when first meeting a stripper, so I was vague in my answers about where I live and what I do for a living. Then, before I knew it, the strippers were coming up with their own ideas of what I must do for a living, and most ideas they had were way cooler than anything I do in real life. That’s just where their minds tend to go.
Don’t Worry, This Is Actually Totally Common in The Nightclub Scene
Some people may think this sounds a little weird, but it’s happening a million times a day in regular nightclubs around the country. The guys and the girls in the nightclub are all pretending to be something a little different than who they actually are. It’s part of the fun and the escape of nightlife, so there’s nothing wrong with it.
But this may not be for everybody. If you don’t like this type of game, then just be yourself. However, if you enjoy entertaining some high-level social interaction where you try to steer the situation in a certain way, this can pay off really big.
You’ll get more action in the VIP, and extras will come a lot easier. With strippers, they don’t want you to think you’re “badder” than they are. So they’ll elevate their game if they think you might be the bad boy type.
Like I said, this isn’t for everybody, and in that case, just be yourself and have fun. But if you want to give this a try, add a little mystery to your answers, and just make sure to do it subtly.
For example, here in Las Vegas, if a stripper asks you what you’re doing in town, don’t say you’re in town for the aluminum siding convention. Say you’re in town on business, or entertaining some clients.
This leaves it open and adds a little mystery that will get the stripper’s imagination going. She’ll probably also ask some follow-up questions, which means she’s interested.
