Should You Buy A Strip Club Package?

A lot of people who visit a Vegas strip club are often checking out a strip club for the first time. Or at most, they’ve only been to a strip club once or twice years ago.

That sets up a situation where many people have no idea how a strip club works and how they should go about planning a trip.

One big question that comes up is whether or not to buy a “package”. Vegas strip clubs make a big deal about packages on their website, but are they ever worth it?

Below, I’ll give you all the details so you can get the most bang for your buck at a Vegas strip club.

What’s a Strip Club Package?

In Vegas, a strip club package is a prepaid type of experience. The club charges anywhere between $400 and $5000 and promises a VIP type experience that’s a better deal than if you just paid for everything like a normal customer inside the club.

The strip club package usually includes things like:

  • Free bottle or free drinks
  • Free transportation
  • VIP seating
  • Food options (if they serve food)
  • Personal hostess
  • Other perks

All of that sounds pretty good, but is it really worth it?

(Hint: it’s not)

Is a Vegas Strip Club Package Worth the Money?

The short answer is no.

Many of the perks they include in the “package” often don’t even cost money. For example, they offer free transportation, but just about every big strip club in Vegas will pick you up for free, even if you’re by yourself.

Not only that, they usually discount the cover charge or totally waive it if you use their transportation. That’s without any package or paying in advance. So the fact that the club includes this as a “perk” in their VIP package is sort of a scam.

It’s free for everyone to use.

The reason I use the transportation example is that everything else in the package follows that same theme. It’s something you can get at the club without the package.

For example, a dedicated hostess is something you’ll get if you just show up and buy a bottle. Even if you don’t buy a bottle, many clubs like Peppermint Hippo will give you a dedicated hostess if you arrive as a couple or with a group.

The bottom line is that VIP packages almost never offer something you won’t just get by going to the club as a walk-in customer.

Vegas clubs just take advantage of people who are either new to strip clubs or new to Vegas strip clubs. The club’s website convinces people that if they pay in advance, they get a much better deal and better treatment, but it’s not really the case.

Is a package ever worth it? Sure, sometimes it probably evens out, but in general, it’s not worth the risk, and I’ll explain why in the next section.

Strip Clubs are Random Places: You Have To Be Flexible

One of the biggest tips I can give you is to understand that strip clubs are very random places. You can have an amazing time in a strip club one night, then go back another time, and it’s a terrible experience with boring girls, and you feel like you’re getting scammed and hustled.

The reason understanding this is important is that to have the best chance at having a great time at a strip club, you need to be flexible. When you’re flexible, you can take advantage of this random nature.

So how does this apply to strip club packages?

Let’s think of it like this. You take my advice and don’t buy a package. You call the free transportation and go to the club, and they cut the cover charge in half, so you pay $40 at the door.

But once inside, you see it’s very slow. The girls are really hard-selling dances. The music isn’t what you were expecting, and the whole place feels boring.

If you followed my advice, you would only be out $40 at this point. You still have time to leave and hit another club or do something else for the night.

However, if you bought the package, you would have already invested at least $400 (plus tax). You would probably stay because you already spent the money, but you would have a boring night at a club you don’t like.

See what I’m saying? Flexibility is key to hitting up strip clubs.

Strip clubs aren’t like restaurants, where a great restaurant is usually great whenever you go, no matter the night.

Strip clubs are not like that.

That’s the main reason I say to avoid packages because they lock you into a specific club, and that could easily ruin your night (and your budget for the trip).

Everything in a package can just be bought when you get there. If you show up to the club and it’s amazing and you’re having a great time, you can still buy a bottle, ask for a hostess, and all the other stuff.

So, skip the packages and just go with an open mind and be ready to go with the vibe if you want to have the best night possible at a Vegas strip club.
