If you’re reading or browsing this site, you likely already know about “extras” at a strip club. For those who don’t, it basically means when a stripper does things in the private room or VIP that she’s probably not allowed to do, either because of the club’s rules or even state laws.
A lot of visitors to strip clubs really go for the extras because they add some extra excitement and fun to a regular strip club visit. For those who haven’t experienced it, the first time you get some extras, it is quite exhilarating simply because it seems like you’re breaking the rules, and in a way, you are. And that’s always fun.
But a step beyond “extras” is seeing strippers outside of the club, which you’ll sometimes see referred to as “OTC”. Basically, this is when you meet a stripper, become friends, and see her outside the club to either just hang out or have sex.
But this process usually takes more than one visit to the strip club. In Vegas, where the booze and money flow, and every visitor has a waiting hotel room, bringing a stripper back to your room seems like an exciting proposition.
But how often does it happen, and is it even possible?
That’s what I’ll discuss below, as I have had this happen myself, and I’ve also talked to several strippers who have done this.
Yes, It Does Happen…
To start, this does happen. Strippers have left the club with a customer or group of customers in Vegas, and it’s not that unusual. However, it’s not the norm, so don’t expect it to be like a brothel where you go in, pick your girl, then just walk out with her.
Instead, it takes pretty much the perfect set of circumstances to unfold, which does happen. You need to pick the stripper who is in the right mood and on the right night. That’s similar to getting extras at the club, which takes everything lining up just right. But you can think of bringing a stripper to your hotel room like a royal flush, while extras is just a straight flush. Both take some luck, but one takes a lot more.
The stripper who gives you extras one night may not be in the mood the next night she works with another customer. So a lot of this is just random, and knowing when things are going right is a big part of it.
Caution: Strippers Will Use This to Scam You
As with all things having to do with Vegas and strippers, you have to be aware of strip club scams.
When it comes to bringing girls back to your hotel, there’s a common scam. Here’s how it works.
When a stripper finds out a customer wants to go back to the hotel room, she suspects she may have a “whale” on the hook. If she has no intention of going to the hotel with him, she may pretend she will just so the guy keeps spending money, thinking it will pay off later.
However, she has no intention of doing this. When it’s time to leave or the guy runs out of money, the stripper simply changes her mind.
A more popular trick they use, since strippers don’t like confrontation, is that they’ll say they’re going to the dressing room to change, and she says afterward she’ll meet the customer back on the floor, and they’ll both leave together. This is after she thinks she’s got all the guy’s money.
But she just goes to the dressing room, changes into her normal clothes, and leaves out the back door to catch an Uber or meet her ride home. And you never see her again. Strippers leave the club out of the back door, not the front.
The way you avoid this is to never just throw a ton of money around, hoping it will lead to extras or a trip back to your hotel room. I explain more in this article about extras and sex in the VIP room.
Spending more money doesn’t always mean more success at a strip club. Often, it just sets you up as a “mark,” and the stripper will go into “money” mode, which means using every trick possible to get more money from you.
Second, don’t make it obvious you’re looking for extras or want to go back to your hotel room. Once again, this sets you up as a “mark”. Instead, try to be cool about it and see where the situation goes. Don’t telegraph your plans. Just act like you’re out to have some fun at the strip club.
If you picked the right stripper, you’ll start to notice things are going well and you can start to find the right time to move on to either extras or trying ot get her to your hotel room.
Just remember, it’s very rare to get a stripper to come back to your hotel room the first night you meet. In all my years going to strip clubs around the country, I’ve only had it happen twice. One of those times was in Vegas at an old club called “The Library” (it’s closed now).
However, I’ve seen plenty of strippers OTC after seeing them a few times, and that’s much easier. Which leads me to the next section about how to maximize your chances of getting a striper back to your Vegas hotel room.
Tips For Success
If this is your goal, I’m going to give you some tips to maximize your chances. Even if you don’t get a stripper to come back with you on the first night, these tips will also help with extras and seeing her another night.
Go to The Club at Slower Times
People usually don’t like a slow strip club, but in this article, I explain why a slow strip club can be perfect if you’re looking for extras. Of course, if you want that wild nightclub atmosphere, then this isn’t for you. But if your goal is extras, a slow to medium night at the club is your best bet.
When a club is packed with tourists, the girls are making enough money and having fun right at the club. They don’t really get tempted to leave or give out extras in that situation.
Picking The Right Stripper
This is the most important thing, and what most people going to a strip club end up doing wrong. They either pick the first girl who flirts with them or they pick the hottest girl they can find. There’s nothing wrong with that, but if your goal is to look for extras, then you have to use a different criterion.
You want to find the “party girl” who’s working that night. Sometimes there is only one, other times there are a few of them. But the party girl type of stripper I explain here is the best choice. She’s willing to have fun and break the rules, and is less focused on money at the moment.
Have a Nice Hotel Room Waiting
Personally, I’m not a “luxury” guy when it comes to hotel rooms. If the hotel has clean beds and a clean shower, I’m good to go. However, this is Vegas, and a lot of strippers want to be part of the luxury Vegas scene, even if it’s fake.
The nicer your hotel, the more chance a girl will come back with you. If you’re staying at the Motel 6, you probably won’t get many takers when you make your offer.
The same goes for the room itself. The nicer the room, the more comfortable the stripper will feel once you go inside. As I said, they want to live out the fantasy of being a high-end sex worker. They love being in nice suites, even if the guy is just middle-class and used his credit card miles to upgrade the room.
Remember, it’s all a fantasy. If you play into that, things work out better with strippers and escorts.
Spend More Than One Day Trying
If you’re in Vegas for a few days, you have a much better chance of making this work. Getting a stripper’s phone number for some OTC action is way easier than bringing them home the same night.
If you click with a certain stripper and you’re really having a good time without dropping huge amounts of cash, ask for a phone number. Just say you’re in town for a few days and want to meet up again.
They won’t all say yes, but more often than not, you’ll get the number. If she gives you the number, it means she’s up for some OTC action if the situation is right. But as always, things can change. The same stripper can be totally different the next night, so keep that in mind and be flexible.
Just Remember This When Picking Up a Stripper
Bringing a stripper back to your hotel room is exceedingly rare, but it does happen. It’s one of those things you can’t really force, and you just have to be in tune with what’s going on and jump on the chance when it pops up. It’s about being in the right place, at the right time, and knowing what’s going on.
However, don’t let it ruin your good time either way. Guys can sometimes try too hard to pick up a stripper and end up having a bad night. That’s not smart either.
